Prerequisites

This is a hands-on workshop for anyone interested in learning how to install, configure and maintain a PC

You should have basic computer knowledge and how to navigate a web browser.

Workshop Outline

Hardware

You will learn how to:

• Install hardware devices such CD ROM and DVD.
• Install and upgrade hard drive and floppy drive
• Install and upgrade Motherboard, RAM, Modem, Network Card, Sound Card and Monitors.

Software

You will learn how to:

• Install and configure Windows 98/ME/XP/Vista.
• Install and Configure MS Office 2000/XP /2003
• Differentiate between operating and application software.

Maintenance and Troubleshoot

• Maintenance and troubleshoot hardware devices and software problems.
